QTS uses the time-tested and reliable DiSC Personal Profile™ instrument to provide powerful insight to leaders. QTS has been an authorized distributor and certified consultant for the DiSC Profile™ for over a decade.

DiSC gives leaders a glimpse of self-understanding that impacts on their daily interactions with people and can truly improve performance – their own and others.

Support provided by QTS
QTS assures that clients get maximum benefit from DiSC by assisting with:

  • administering the instrument (paper/pencil or computerized)
  • interpreting reports for respondents, and helping respondents use the report’s findings to adjust their own behavioral style to work more effectively with others

In addition, QTS has developed a number of supplementary information sheets to make the DiSC information come alive and further sharpen insights from the basic assessment.

DiSC Instrument
DiSC is a forced-choice assessment which asks respondents to choose a “most like me” and “least like me” response on 28 separate items. When tallied, scored and graphed, the responses create a picture of that person’s behavioral style.

QTS recommends the computerized version of the Profile. Taken on line, this version generates a personalized 12-page report, with sections on:

  • behavioral strengths
  • a behavioral overview
  • motivating factors
  • preferred work environment
  • situations avoided
  • strategies for increased effectiveness
  • de-motivating factors
  • behavior in conflict situations

The paper-pencil version of DiSC uses the same 28 items, and allows for self-scoring. It provides a more brief description of behavioral style, which QTS can supplement with additional information.

QTS has used DiSC effectively as part of our management / leader training, team consultation and one-one coaching. We have used this tool with hundreds of leaders at all levels – from crew leaders, to middle managers and top-level executives – in every type of organization. Virtually everyone using DiSC finds it an easy-to-understand and practical tool, thanks to its everyday terminology and simple application.
