QTS uses the LPI with leaders primarily in manufacturing organizations, though it’s useful in any environment. Based on the best-selling book, The Leadership Challenge, by Kouzes and Posner, the LPI solicits feedback on 30 distinct leader behaviors in five categories:
With LPI, respondents each complete a 30-item survey form, either on line or with a paper/pencil version. Results are compiled into a manager report, which can be interpreted as part of a group training session or used as the basis for one-one performance coaching. The LPI’s Leadership Development Planner not only walks through interpretation of the results, but provides a variety of development resources leaders can pursue to address specific improvement areas. |
